LEGACY

A house shaped by time

From a single address in Kolonaki to a living hospitality brand, the story of Kiku is built on people, purpose and an unwavering respect for craft.

Giorgos Andritsos

THE FOUNDER

Giorgos Andritsos

From Kiku to Casa Kiku

Giorgos Andritsos is the entrepreneur behind the modern evolution of Kiku and the man behind Casa Kiku.

He believed in the power of this name at a time when Kiku needed a new direction. He did not simply try to preserve a historic restaurant. He kept it alive, renewed it and evolved it, extending its presence from Athens to Mykonos and constantly adapting the concept to a new era without losing its identity.

Andritsos is the man behind Casa Kiku — the natural evolution of Kiku from a historic restaurant brand into a complete hospitality and lifestyle concept.

For Giorgos Andritsos, Casa Kiku is not a new brand that replaces Kiku. It is the continuation of a story that began in 1993 — and his effort to keep it alive, evolve it and give it a new future.

A legacy, evolved.

  1. 1993

    The Goulandris years

The story began with Leonidas Goulandris, whose family holds one of the most prominent names in global shipping. For 18 years, under his guidance, Kiku became synonymous with elegance, discretion and top tier Japanese cuisine.

  2. 2011

    A New Vision

In 2011, Kiku was acquired by George Dragoumanos and George Andritsos, two entrepreneurs with a shared vision. Mr. Dragoumanos, a real estate investor based in London with four decades of experience, brought strategic clarity and business excellence. Mr. Andritsos, a bold and talented young visionary, infused Kiku with new creative direction, transforming it into Greece’s most iconic sushi destination.

Together, they aimed higher to evolve Kiku into a globally recognized brand, where Japanese cuisine becomes culinary art, not mass consumption.

  3. 2023

    A Farewell & A New Chapter

In 2023, George Dragoumanos passed away, a key figure in Kiku’s growth and direction. His vision, values and legacy continue to inspire everything Kiku stands for today.

That same year, a new chapter began with the entrance of Mr. Dimos Stasinopoulos, founder of S One Hospitality Group that leads the Greek restaurant industry, with the highest number of locations and a powerful presence nationwide, as a strategic partner.

  4. 2026

    A New Era

In 2026, Kiku reopens as Casa Kiku. Giorgos Andritsos and Dimos Stasinopoulos partner with Mr. Alexandros Exarchou, Chairman and CEO of AKTOR Group of Companies, as a new investor in the project. The next chapter begins: a restaurant designed as a home, where the legacy of Kiku is lived in a new way.
